NEW BLOG, NEW BLOG

I made a new one because tumblr is screwing this one up.  I guess it’s gotten its mileage.

I made this for Leo when he came to visit.  We don’t really look like us.

Jam of the Day: Neko Case’s Furnace Room Lullaby (live)

An oldie but I forgot how amazing this song was so now it’s also a goodie.

All smiles today

Things I thought about in class: Whatever we were talking about in class.  Sleeping.
Things I am thinking about in the library:  I am going to finish this paper on ADHD by 9 o’clock.  People are asleep in the library because it is so warm and everyone had midterms.

And I can’t make up my missed quiz.

Leo came to visit this past week.  I found out the day before I called him that I had MONO (Shoichiro’s reaction when I told him through text: WHAT THE MONO?!).  I wanted to show him New York City and go on a hike everyday but I ended up resting in bed a lot those first few days.  I think I’ve already started getting better by taking it easy, I just wish we could have done those things.  I’ll stay optimistic.  (I want to go to New York City with everyone I know).  Last night we watched Twin Peaks in the Root Cellar and went home and baked Sierra Nevada beer bread while Friday the 13th was on television.  Leo hung drapes on our windows and we ate at restaurants in town(s).
This morning I drove him to the train station.  We got a flat tire and Leo almost handled it except the tire was stuck.  What we didn’t know is that you to not only jack up the car, unscrew the little nodules, but you had to also mallet the damn thing off from the back.  My bad, didn’t say that in the manual.  It was a really, really fun week and as unlucky as it seemed at times, I don’t think there was any better way to come down with mono than to have Leo visit and lie around and eat.
It’s kinda lonely here now.  I will probably be listening to Stars (and SHERYL CROW) all day and I haven’t gotten out of my bathrobe since I showered.
I still think I should someday go see Stars because I was all about that in early high school and I NEVER WENT, so what gives!
